No Waste Party

EDUCATIONAL EVENT /// The "Bains des Pâquis" have organized in may 2012 a big week end around the theme of waste, with many workshops, concerts, performances, fashion show and a "waste bal". In this context, we imagined a big treasure hunt on a path created with road cleaning machines and equipments, in an pirate theme atmosphere. In collaboration with the Ville de Genève.

SPORTS CHALLENGE /// In the context of the Geneva Games 2012, we imagined participative, original and playful sport activities, aimed for families with children. Don't Be Zombies - Carouge 2012

URBAN GAME /// Carouge has been invaded by zombies! This new big urban game involved numerous zombies and groups of players trying to escape them, and fulfill a vital mission for humanity’s survival. Pure natural adrenalin, the event Don’t Be Zombies immerses participants into a crazy speed chase, playing with their fears, sharpening their survival instinct, and having fun! Exchange Boxes

ART AND SWAPS /// Generate spontaneous encounters : locals and passers-by, or colleagues sharing a building, can put any object into the box or take anything they want from it. Books, CDs, DVDs, toys, snow chains... A simple and open exchange is created, guaranteeing new connections. Swiss national day ceremony 2011

NATIONAL CELEBRATION /// We organized for the City of Geneva the Swiss national day ceremony in the Parc des Bastions. In the evening took place the traditional big fire, and we wanted to make this event special and unforgettable. Therefore, we created a giant domino effect with 500 rat traps which activated the movement of 500 flags leading to the firing of the big wood pile.
CinéTransat 2011

FREE OPENAIR CINEMA /// The 3rd edition of CinéTransat took place from the 7th of July to the 14th of August 2011. With CinéTransat you go from an individual classic cinema situation - where you'll be told to be quiet at your first crunch of popcorn - to a collective experience where the crowd applauds the good guys, boos the baddies, shares picnics, sings and dances, together ! The film serves as a pretext to bring people together and create shared experiences.
Elementary schools promotion party 2011

CELEBRATIONS FOR KIDS /// Happy City Lab organized the animations in the context of the elementary schools promotion party for the City of Geneva. Almost 6000 kids were able to discover animations on the theme of pirates.

MUSICAL SITUATION /// From 9th – 19th June 2011, 20 street pianos were distributed across the streets of Geneva to mark the 20th anniversary of the Fete de la Musique. MUSICAL SITUATION /// Play Me, I'm Yours is a social and artistic project by Luke Jerram which we've been organising in Switzerland since 2011 under the French name Jouez, je suis à vous. We place pianos in public spaces and make them freely available to passers-by.
