MONUMENTAL TRANSFORMATION ///

After a first edition in Vernier (GE) in November 2015, the City of Neuchâtel has also welcomed the interactive installation Turn Me On. This artistic creation has given life to some buildings of the City between January 15 and January 31 2015. After the christmas holidays and its numerous decorations, the City wanted to keep the magic alive in the streets a little longer. Turn Me On , centered on a strong interactivity with the public, invited them to illuminate their city, by a simple action on a switch.

Turn Me On initiates a twilight urban safari where passers-by press giant switches, launching monumental eyes and mouths on building façades. Ephemeral on the walls, these images live long in the imagination. As you explore, eyes observe you and mouths talk silently, laugh or shout ; the city comes alive. A mesmerizing journey through darkened streets.
